    Lumia 535 is the budget dual sim Windows smartphone. The device runs on Windows 8.1 with Update 1 and few Nokia exclusive features. Microsoft Lumia 535 price in India is Rs.9,199.

    Lumia 535 is powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 Quad Core Processor with 1GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 8GB and supports microSD card upto 128GB.  It has 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with qHD(960 x 540 Pixels) screen resolution which translates to 220 ppi pixel density. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

    Lumia 535 comes with 5MP primary camera(1/4 inch sensor, f/2.4 aperture and 28mm focal length) with flash and 5MP secondary camera.     • Poor Touch sensitivity: This is a software bug. Microsoft acknowledged this bug and will get a bug fix update soon.
    • Secondary camera performance is average.
    • No HD video recording: Max resolution at which videos can be recorded is 480p@30fps.
    • No 720 p screen resolution: The same price brand smartphones does provide the 720p screen.

    How to take screenshot on Lumia 535

    To take screenshot or print screen on Lumia 535, you need to press and hold Volume Up  and Power key  button at the same time. If the screenshot is taken, then screen will flash and play an audible camera like shutter sound.     How to Reset Axis Bank Debit Card ATM Pin

    There are two ways in which you can reset the pin code of Axis Bank Debit card. One is through calling the customer care number and another one through ATM.

    • Call Axis Bank customer care number 1860-419-5555 or 1860-500-5555.

    • Now press 4 for debit card related information.
    • Press 1 for generating the pin. Follow the oncreen instruction to complete the Pin reset procedure.

    Reset the Axis Bank Debit Card Pin through ATM Machine

    If you have forgot your Axis bank debit card pin number and resetting the pin number you have to go to Axis Bank ATM center.

    • Insert the card and choose Set pin
    • Enter your registered mobile number and go to next screen.
    • Enter the date of birth in ddmmyyyy.
    • Next screen, you need to enter the security code which you received on your registered mobile.
    • Now enter your preferred ATM Pin.
    • Your new pin will be activated.

    Set new Debit card Pin using AXIS Bank Online Banking

    You can create a new pin using online banking account. For that,

    • Login to your AXIS bank account.
    • Go to service and Select Debit Card services.
    • Select the card which you want to reset the pin or create a new pin.
    • From ‘More Services’ drop down, select ‘Set Debit card PIN’.
    • Enter the new pin and confirm it by retyping it in the next row.
    • Enter card expiry date.
    • You will receive a net secure pin on your phone. Enter that.
    • New Pin will be created.

    Micromax has unveiled new budget Android smartphone called Canvas Express.  The device will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting from December 8.  The Micromax Canvas Express price in India is Rs.6,999.(Approx $116).

    Micromax Canvas Express runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box and has Dual sim(GSM+GSM) functionality.  It is powered by 1.3GHz qua d core processor with 1GB of RAM.  Canvas Express sports 4.5 inch display with screen resolution of FWVGA(480×854 pixels).

    Micromax Canvas Express comes with 5MP primary rear camera with flash  and 0.3MP front facing camera which is useful for selfies and video calling. The internal storage capacity of the device is 8GB and supports  microSD card  upto 32GB.

    Micromax Canvas Express houses  1950 mAh battery. The connectivity features of the device are 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB tethering and WiFi Hotspot. The device comes with features such as HotKnot and Smart Wake. HotKnot is MediaTek’s NFC like solution using which user can tap screen to screen for sharing images, videos, music and browsing URLs. Using Smart Wake   user can open apps with customised gestures directly from the lock screen.

    Looking at the specifications, Micromax Canvas Express is not that impressive. Considering the price tag, Motorola Moto E or Xiaomi Redme 1S looks more attractive. However, post hands on review on Micromax Canvas Express we can conclude on this.

    Much awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Moto G 2013 edition started reaching the devices in India. The latest OS Update is available through OTA(Over the Air) update.

    How to use Moto G as WiFi hotspot.

    Moto G is most economical smartphone receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.  This update brings materiel design for the UI, brand new ART runtime and improvement on battery management.  Also, it will make 1st gen Moto G much snappier.

    How to Update Moto G  to Android 5.0 Lollipop

    As of now, Moto G update is available only through OTA update. Hence you need get connected to the WiFi Network. Also Motorola Recommends minimum 50% charged battery.  Below is the steps to update the Moto G to the latest Firmware.

    There two scenarios.

    1. If you are received a notification message for the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update

    • Select “Yes, I’m in”.
    • After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
    • After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
    • Your phone is now updated with latest Android version.

    2.  If you are not received the update notification

    In this scenario, you need to check the update manually. To do so, follow the steps given below.

    • Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
    • Select “About phone”.
    • Select “System updates”.
    • Select “Yes, I’m in”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
    • After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
    • Your phone is now updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

  • Xiaomi Redme 1s will be back on sale in India on this Monday

    As part of Big App Shopping day sale, Flipkart  is going to sell Xiaomi Redme 1S in India. One more special about this sale is, no need pre register to buy this device. Normally, Xiaomi has gotten us used to selling only one model at a time.  As we all know, earlier this week, Redme Note went on sale in India.

    This is not the first time, Xiaomi made such sales. On October 6, Flipkarts big billion day, Xiaomi Mi 3 went on sale like this. So on December 8, we will be able to buy the Redme 1s from Flipkart once again.

The sale happens on every Tuesday 2PM.  It started from Xiaomi Mi 3 followed by Redme 1s and Redme Note 3G.     On December 8th  Redme 1S sale, you no need to worry about anything mentioned above.  Do remember it is Big App Shopping day sale. So we think that, buying this phone requires Flipkart App on your smartphone.  Login and just the Redme 1S before the stocks get over.
