Method 1: Using the Camera App
- Launch the camera app and point it at the document you want to scan.
- The camera app will automatically detect the document and frame it for you.
- Tap the “T” icon from the left bottom corner to take a picture of the document.You can adjust the corners of the scanned document if needed.
- Tap “Save” to view the scanned document in your gallery.
- To convert the scanned document into a PDF, open the gallery, tap on the scanned document, tap the three vertical dots, tap “Print,” select “Save as PDF,” and then tap the PDF icon to download the PDF.
Method 2: Using the Office Mobile App
- Open the Microsoft Office 365 app.
- Tap “Capture” and then select “Scan.”
- Place the document in front of the camera and tap the shutter button.
- Adjust the borders of the scanned document if needed and then tap “Review and Edit.”
- You can use various editing tools to crop, add text, rotate, or add filters to the scanned document.
- To scan more pages, tap “Add More” and repeat the same procedure.
- Once you have scanned all the pages, tap “Reorder” to rearrange the pages as needed.
- Tap the right check mark and then “Finish.”Enter a name for the PDF and select the format (image or PDF) and size (original, medium, or small).
- You can directly share the scanned PDF from the app or save it to OneDrive or your phone.
