Samsung Galaxy A15 5G: How to set custom ringtone and notification sound

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is the latest smartphone in the sub 20k price segment. Setting a custom ringtone and notification sounds are one of the ways to customise according to our liking. So in this post, lets explore how to set custom ringtone and notification sound on Samsung Galaxy A15 5G.

How to set custom ringtone and notification sound on Galaxy A15 5G

Change ringtone in Galaxy A15

  • Go to Settings->Sounds and Vibration->Ringtone.
  • You can set different ringtone for SIM 1 and SIM 2. From the top tab, you can select the SIM you wish to change the ringtone.
  • Select the ringtone as per your choice from the available preloaded Samsung ringtone.
  • To set custom MP3 as ringtone, Tap the “+” sign from the top right corner.
  • If you are using this for the first time, then you need to allow “Sound Picker” to access your media file.
  • You will find all the media files which you can use as a ringtone.
  • Select the tone and tap “Done”.
  • The ringtone is set. Similarly, you can set Ringtone for other SIM as well.

Change notification sound in Galaxy A15 5G

  • Go to Settings->Sounds and Vibration->Notification Sound.
  • Choose the SIM you wish to change the notification sound.
  • Select the tone from the available preloaded tunes.

Set any MP3 tune as notification sound

  • Go to Files app.
  • Browse to the folder where you have your audio file.
  • Select it by long pressing on it.
  • Tap Copy.
  • Go back to the main page and select Internal storage.
  • Select All from the drop down.
  • Go inside Notifications folder.
  • Paste the tune by tapping Copy here.
  • Now if you go back to change notification settings, you will find your MP3 in the list.
  • Select it to make it as your notification sound.

Set ringtone for Individual contacts

  • Go to Contacts app.
  • Select the contact you wish to change the ringtone.
  • Tap the three vertical dots from the right bottom corner.
  • Choose Change ringtone/vibration and again Ringtone.
  • If you are using this for the first time, then you need to allow Contacts to access your media files.
  • Now you can select the preloaded Ringtone by selecting it from the list or You can add your other audio file as Ringtone by tapping the “+” sign.

    SAMSUNG J3PRIME I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE SAME NOTIFICATION
