Method 1: Two button combination.
To turn off Galaxy A55 using this way, press both Volume down and Power (Side Key) Buttons at the same time and hold them. The power off menu appears.
Alternatively, go to the Quick Settings menu, by swiping down from the top of the screen. Swipe down once again to expand it. You will see the power icon at the top menu. Tap on it. You get the menu to switch off or restart.
Method 2: Remapping the side key to power menu
If you long press the power button, it brings the Bixby. To assign the power menu to the Side key, open the power menu using the two-button combination method or from the Quick settings menu. Tap “Side button settings“. Here under Press and hold section, you will find “Power off menu“. Select it. This will assign the power off menu to the side key.
Method 3: Force Restart Galaxy A55
To force restart Samsung Galaxy A55, press and hold the volume down and side key together. Continue holding the keys until the Samsung logo appears on the screen. Once you get it, release the keys. It will restart normally. This method is useful if your screen is blank or phone is freezed or you are not able to restart using the regular methods.
