  • How to take screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

    Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra provides multiple different ways to take a screenshot. Though some of these methods are seen on other Galaxy devices, some are exclusive to Galaxy Note 20. If you want to capture the entire screen or portion of screen in certain shape or a long screenshot, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a option to do it.     Screenshot Button method

    To use this method, you need to add screenshot button to the edge panel. For that,

    • Go to Edge panel.
    • Tap Settings.
    • Add task to edge panel by selecting it.

    To take screenshot,

    • Go to the page you want to take screenshot.
    • Now navigate to Edge panel.
    • Browse between the Edge panels to get Task panel.
    • Tap on the screenshot.
    • Screenshot will be saved.

    S Pen Method

    • Get the S Pen and open the S Pen options.
    • Select Smart Select.
    • From the toolbar, select the shape you want the screenshot.
    • You can save or share the screenshot.

    Palm Swipe to capture screenshot

    • Navigate to the page you want the screenshot.
    • Swipe your palm from left to right or right to left.
    • It will save the screenshot.

    Hardware Keys method

    • Go to the page you want to capture screenshot.
    • Quickly press and release the Volume down and power keys simultaneously.
    • It will save the screenshot.

    Long screenshot or scroll screenshot

    To take scroll screenshot or long screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or Note 20, take screenshot using screenshot button or palm swipe or Hardware keys method. Now you will get screenshot toolbar. Tap on the down arrow key to scroll the page and take screenshot.

    How to access taken screenshot

    Go to Gallery, Albums and then screenshot folder.

    Using the palm swipe gesture to capture a screenshot

    • Navigate to the page you want to grab a screenshot.
    • Swipe your palm on screen from one side to another wherein your palm slightly touches the screen.

    Assistive Touch Menu method to take screenshot

    For using this method, you need to enable Assistive Touch menu.

    • Go to Settings->Accessibility->interaction and dexterity. Enable Assistant Menu.
    • A small floating icon will appear on the screen. This is called Assistant Menu. 

    To take a screenshot, navigate to the page you want to take screenshot on Galaxy M31s. Now tap on Assistant menu and then screenshot. It will save the screenshot.

    Long screenshot or Scroll screenshot on Samsung Galaxy M31s

    If you want to take scroll screenshot or long screenshot, take screenshot using any of the methods mentioned before. You will get a screenshot tool bar. Now, tap on this down arrow icon. It will take scroll screenshot. If you are not getting this menu, then Go to Settings->Advanced Features. Here select Screenshots and Screen recorder. Enable Screenshot toolbar.

    • First enable the Assistive Touch menu. For that, go to Settings, Accessibility and then interaction and dexterity. On this page enable Assistant Menu.
    • You will find a floating Assistive Touch menu on your screen. You can move it anywhere on the screen as per your convenience.
    • To take a screenshot, navigate to the page you want to take screenshot.
    • Tap the Assistive Touch Menu. Now select Screenshot.
    • It will save the screenshot.

    How to take Long screenshot or Scroll Screenshot on Samsung Galaxy A21s

    To take long screenshot or scroll screenshot, first ensure the screenshot tool bar is enabled. For that, go to Settings > Advanced features,>screenshots. Enable screenshot toolbar if it is not enabled. Now to take scroll screenshot,

    • Go to the page you want to take screenshot.
    • Capture the screenshot using any of the previously mentioned methods.
    • You will see a tool bar. Tap down arrow icon. It will take a scroll screenshot.

    Note: if you take a screenshot on a page which does not have the second page, then you will not get scroll screenshot option.

    • The screen will flash and the screenshot will be saved.
    • If this method does not works, go into Settings, Advanced features, Motions and gestures and make sure Palm swipe to capture is turned on.
    • You will be getting a sharing and editing options in the exact same way from either the on screen toolbar or notification shade.

    To use this method,

    • Enable the Assistant Touch menu.
      • Go to Settings, Accessibility and then interaction and dexterity.
      • On this page enable Assistant Menu. In the next page, make it on.
      • You will find a floating button.
    • Go to the page you want to capture screenshot.
    • Tap on Assistive touch and select Screenshot.
    • It will save the screenshot.

  • iPhone SE (2020) How to take a screenshot- Two Methods

    The 2020 iPhone SE resembles the design language of iPhone 8. This also includes physical home button. The way to take a screenshot on iPhone X series or 11 series was different compared to iPhone 8 or older due to lack of home button.     How to take screenshot on iPhone SE

    This tutorial covers 2 different methods to take screenshot.

    Method 1 : Using the Home and Side Key

    • Go to the page you want to take a screenshot and adjust it the way you want the screenshot.
    • Now quickly press and release Home and Side Key( Power Key) together.
    • It will capture the screenshot and preview will be shown in the left bottom corner.

    Note: If Home and Side key are not pressed together, it may launch Siri or lock your device. So ensure you press and release Home and Side key together to capture screenshot.

    Method 2: Using Assistive Touch method or Take screenshot on iPhone SE without using Home key

    If you are not comfortable in taking screenshot using hardware keys, you can use the Assistive Touch method.

    • First enable the Assistive Touch. You can do that by going to Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> AssistiveTouch. Enable Assistivetouch.
    • On the same page, tap on Customise Top level Menu and then Custom. Select Screenshot from the list. Tap done.
    • On a page you want to take screenshot, tap Assistive Touch icon followed by the screenshot button.

    How to edit the screenshot

    You can edit the taken screenshot. You can add text, shapes or draw on the taken screenshots. For that,

    • Take screenshot using any of the two method mentioned before.
    • Now tap on the screenshot preview.
    • You will find all the available editing tool such as crop, draw, colors, text etc.
    • Once you finish editing, tap Done. You can save it photos or Files.

    How to view the screenshot

    • Go to Photos -> Albums -> Screenshots.
    • You will find all the taken screenshots.
    • You have edited the photos and selected Save to Files, then you can access them in Files folder.
