Airtel and Jio have announced WiFi calling facility for its users. One of the biggest advantages of WiFi calling is, you can make clear and crisp calls without call drops even if you are in an area where cellular signal is weak. In this post, we will have a look into how to enable WiFi calling on Vivo mobiles.
Jio WiFi calling feature is designed to support both Voice(VoWiFi) and Video calls over any Wi-Fi network. Jio and Airtel users can seamlessly switch between VoLTE and Wi-Fi network without any delay. However, the user needs to activate WiFi calling on the device.
Now tap on the sim card for which you want to enable WiFi calling.
Now tap on Wi-Fi Calling then on the next page enable Wi-Fi Calling.
Whenever Wi-Fi is available, the call will go through WiFi.
Note: At the time of writing this, only Jio supports WiFi calling on Vivo phones. Some of the compatible Vivo phones are Vivo V17, Vivo V17 Pro, Vivo Y17 etc. For detailed compatible list of phones please refer here.

Dual apps with App Clone Feature

Go to Settings->Applications and Permissions.

It will show a list of installed apps which supports dual apps.
For the app, you want to create 2nd instance, enable it.
You will find two instances of the same app. You can use each instance for different accounts.
Change Fingerprint animation
Vivo V17 comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. While you unlock the phone, you will find an animation on the screen. You can change the animation with multiple variations.
Go to Settings->Fingerprint, face and password.
Tap on Fingerprint.
Enter the lock screen password.
Go to Animation styles.
You have multiple options to select from. Choose the one you like.

Gesture-based Navigation

To enable gesture-based navigation,
Go to Settings->System Navigation.

You can change the order of navigation key, by tapping the Order and styles of navigation keys.
Check for Duplicate Photos and Files
This new Vivo smartphone has a built-in function to clean duplicate photos and files. To check duplicate photos,
Open i Manager app.
Scroll down and tap more.
Now tap on Photo Cleanup.
It will show duplicate photos. Also similar photos.
You can easily remove the duplicate photos in a single tap.
Similarly, tap on duplicate files to remove duplicate files.
Enable Always on Display
Vivo V17 has Always-on display feature. However, it is not enabled by default. If you want to enable it,
Go to Settings->Home screen, lock screen and wallpaper.
Tap on Always-on display.

Vivo Z1 Pro houses a massive 5000 mAh battery. It also has Vivo’s own Dual Engine Fast Charging tech. Massive battery with optimisation provides very good battery life. In most of the situation, it lasts more than 2 day.
Decent Camera
The device comes with triple camera setup at back. It consist of 16-megapixel camera with an f/1.78 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Photos came out good considering the price segment.
There is a 32-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture in the front. The photos are decent enough to share in social media.

With the limited usage, we felt display panel on the device has good brightness and offers decent viewing angles.The color saturation, sharpness are also decent.
