  • iPhone SE (2020) How to take a screenshot- Two Methods

    The 2020 iPhone SE resembles the design language of iPhone 8. This also includes physical home button. The way to take a screenshot on iPhone X series or 11 series was different compared to iPhone 8 or older due to lack of home button. Inclusion of home button on iPhone SE 2020, brings back the old method of taking screenshot on iPhones. So let us explore the 2 different methods to take screenshot on iPhone SE 2020.

    If you have ever used iPhones or iPads with home button, you might be already familiar with these steps. It work just like a refresher. If not, just follow steps given below to take screenshot on 2020 iPhone SE.

    How to take screenshot on iPhone SE

    This tutorial covers 2 different methods to take screenshot.

    Method 1 : Using the Home and Side Key

    • Go to the page you want to take a screenshot and adjust it the way you want the screenshot.
    • Now quickly press and release Home and Side Key( Power Key) together.
    • It will capture the screenshot and preview will be shown in the left bottom corner.

    Note: If Home and Side key are not pressed together, it may launch Siri or lock your device. So ensure you press and release Home and Side key together to capture screenshot.

    Method 2: Using Assistive Touch method or Take screenshot on iPhone SE without using Home key

    If you are not comfortable in taking screenshot using hardware keys, you can use the Assistive Touch method.

    • First enable the Assistive Touch. You can do that by going to Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> AssistiveTouch. Enable Assistivetouch.
    • On the same page, tap on Customise Top level Menu and then Custom. Select Screenshot from the list. Tap done.
    • On a page you want to take screenshot, tap Assistive Touch icon followed by the screenshot button.

    How to edit the screenshot

    You can edit the taken screenshot. You can add text, shapes or draw on the taken screenshots. For that,

    • Take screenshot using any of the two method mentioned before.
    • Now tap on the screenshot preview.
    • You will find all the available editing tool such as crop, draw, colors, text etc.
    • Once you finish editing, tap Done. You can save it photos or Files.

    How to view the screenshot

    • Go to Photos -> Albums -> Screenshots.
    • You will find all the taken screenshots.
    • You have edited the photos and selected Save to Files, then you can access them in Files folder.

    How to take screenshot on iPhone SE?

    There are two ways through which print screen can be performed on iPhone SE.

    Method 1:

    • Press and Hold Sleep/Wake or Power button which is placed in the right side of the device.
    • Without releasing the Power button, press Home button.
    • The screen will flickr and screenshot will be saved.

    Method 2:

    • Tap on to floating assistive touch menu on the screen.
    • Tap on to Device.
    • In this screen, select More.
    • Now tap on to Screenshot.
    • Screen will flash and screenshot will be saved.
