What are the different variants of Xiaomi Mi 5 available?

Mi5 comes with three different variants based on the internal storage options. They are 32GB, 64GB and the 128GB Ceramic variant. As of now in India, the variant with 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM is available.

Is this supports dual sim? What type of sim cards it accepts?

Xiaomi Mi5 is a dual sim smartphone. It accepts 2 nano sim cards.

Is this device supports microSD card?

No.

Does it has stereo speakers?

No. It has mono speakers. In the bottom only the right one is speaker.

How to take screenshot on Xiaomi Mi5?

There are 2 ways through which you can take screenshot. First methods is by press and holding volume down and power button simultaneosly. The other method is through the screenshot button which is places in the quick settings menu which you can access by swiping down the screen. Apart from this, there is another way of capturing screenshot on MI5 using the PC.The other method needs Xiaomi PC suite. If you have installed PC suite, then you can take screenshot from your PC as well.

Will I be able to share mobile data from this device to other devices?

Yes. You can. Like any standard Android phone, this phone supports USB tethering, WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth tethering.

Is it possible to do reverse tethering on Xiaomi Mi5? How to share PC internet with Mi5?

For using PC internet from Mi5, you need download and install Xiaomi PC suite. Once installed, by default whenever you connect your Mi5 to PC through USB cable, it connects to PC internet. You have the option to disable it by accessing the PC internet in the notification area.

Is Xioami Mi5 supports 5G Wi-Fi? What are the connectivity options available?

Yes. The connectivity features of the device are 4G+ or LTE Advanced with support for VoLTE, Wi-fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with AGPS, NFC.

Does it has Fingerprint scanner?

Yes.

Is it possible to use this device as remote to control appliances such as TV, AC, setup box etc?

Mi5 has IR blaster. So you can use it.

Xiaomi Mi5 price in India is Rs. 24,999. The first flash sale starts on April 6th on Mi.com. It will be available to other retailer some time later.

Does it has fast charging?

Yes. The device is compatible with Qualcomm fast charging 3.0. However, bundled charger supports only Qualcomm fast charging 2.0.

Xiaomi Mi 4S Features Price and Specification
Xiaomi has unveiled a new midrange android smartphone called Mi4S. The device will go on sale from 1st March. The price of Xiaomi Mi4S is CNY1699(Approximately Rs.18,000). It will be available in Black, Gold, Purple, and White colour variants.

Xiaomi Mi4S comes with front and rear glass panels with metal frame for premium look and feel. The device is powered by 2.5GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage and support for microSD card upto 128GB. Mi4s is a dual sim phone and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Xiaomi Mi4S sports 5 inch full HD IPS display screen which offers approximately 441ppi pixel density. The connectivity features of the device are 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and packs USB Type-C. One of the most teased feature of this device is its fingerprint scanner. This is the first phone from Xiaomi to features fingerprint scanner. It also has Infrared sensor.

Xiaomi Mi4S houses 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. For selfie lovers, there is a 5 Mega pixel front facing camera. This handset has 3260mAh non-removable battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology. It also supports VoLTE supports.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro with Snapdragon 650 Announced
Soon after launching the Redme 3 smartphone, Xiaomi has unveiled the new variant of Redmi Note 3. The new variant is also called as Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. This new variant has Snapdragon 650 Soc instead of MTK Helio X10 MT6795 octa-core Soc. Xiaomi Redme Note 3 Pro is priced at CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,000) and sale will start in China from 17th January. It will be available in Dark grey, Champagne gold and silver color variants.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro will feature all-metal body and sports 5.5 inch Full HD(1080×1920 pixel resolution) IPS display. The device is powered by hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor (four cores clocked at 1.2GHz and two cores clocked at 1.8GHz). The new Redme Note 3 will come with 2 variants of RAM and storage capacity. One with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The other one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The price of 3GB RAM variant is not yet revealed.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro runs on MIUI 7 which based on Android Lollipop. The device supports dual sim and both sim capable of 4G connectivity. The other connectivity features includes 3G, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, Glonass, WiFi and microUSB. It packs 4000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redme Note 3 Pro houses 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash. There is also a 5Mp front facing camera. The device measures 150x76x8.65mm and weighs 164 grams.

Today Xiaomi officially announced the launch of Redme Note 3 in India through its official facebook page. Just 3 days back it has launched Redme 3 in China. Even Lenovo launched Lemon 3 smartphone in China at the same price.

Xiaomi Redme 2A Budget 4G Smartphone Unveiled
On the occasion of its 5th Anniversary, Xiaomi has unveiled a new budget 4G Android smartphone called Xiaomi Redme 2A. In simple terms, it is the cheaper variant of Redme 2 smartphone. Along with this device, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun, also unveiled Mi Note(Pink Edition).

The new Xiaomi Redme 2A has many things identical to Redme 2 in terms of cosmetics. The only difference is the CPU. Redme 2A is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Leadcore (L1860C) Cortex-A7 processor with 1GB of RAM. Whereas Xiaomi Redme 2 is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Cortex-A53 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Xiaomi Redme 2A sports 4.7 inch 720P HD IPS display screen with 312 ppi pixel density. This budget 4G Android smartphone comes with 8GB of internal storage and support for microSD upto 32GB. Like Redme 2, this also features 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 lens, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2200mAh battery. The connectivity features includes TDD-LTE Bands 38, 39, 40, and 41, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and wireless display functionality, alongside GPS/ A-GPS. The dimensions of Redme 2A is similar to Redme 2 which is 134.00×67.20×9.40mm. Xiaomi Redme 2A price is CNY 599(approximately Rs. 6,000).

Mi Note Pink Edition according to the Xiaomi tailored Edition for modern ladies. Xiaomi Mi Note Pink edition is a dual sim with Dual sim standby support Android smartphone which accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM card. Mi Note Pink edition comes with 5.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. This phablet has metal frame.

Mi Note Pink Edition houses 13-megapixel rear camera and 4-megapixel front-camera also onboard with large 2-micron pixels. The device is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. Connectivity features includes 4G LTE connectivity. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Launched in India at Rs.6999
Xiaomi Redme 2 is the successor to popular budget dual sim Android smartphone Redme 1s. The device is priced at Rs. 6999 and will be available exclusively on Flipart. Like Redme 1S, this also available through flash sales. The registration starts from today and sale starts on March 24. The limited edition Redme 2 with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage will be launched in India on later date.

Xiaomi Redme 2 has many features same as its predecessor and some upgrades. It is powered by 64bit 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM. The device has 8GB of internal storage and supports microSD card for additional storage. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with MIUI 6 UI. Redme 2 is dual sim 4G and both sim supports 4G.
