Upcoming Smartphones in 2015

The Tech community ended another spectacular year, with marvels of technologies jam packed in each of their mobile devices released in 2014. Apple finally stepped into sectors of larger phones; Samsung brought into the market fantastic displays integrated into in S5 and note 4; Motorola and Google upgraded each of their devices to high-end flagship deliminators; HTC and Sony brought in software upgrades and feature enhancements. So what can we expect in 2015? Are there any phones awaiting release? Well, let’s take a look.

Google Project Ara

If you haven’t heard about this new sector of Google’s research, you must read on… Project Ara is an idea for modularizing each Smartphone by classifying each module under – display, camera, processor, and battery. If any of these components seem out-dated, users can easily slide out and replace the specific module of the Smartphone. This not only reduces electronic waste but also provides an opportunity for the customer to personalize the phone according to his/her needs. After numerous demos and models, Google will release the test product in parts of USA before releasing the product worldwide.

Samsung has dominated the phablet market since 2012, releasing some of the most feature-rich smartphones in the entire industry. The two main line of Samsung flagship devices are the S-series and the Note-series. S6 has been one of the most anticipated phones of 2015 because of its endless rumors of bezel-less display and improved software. 20MP primary Camera and 5MP secondary camera supporting more than 25 modes of 4K video recording has been the key feature. Powering this beast is an Octa Core 2000MHz processor coupled with 4GB Ram and to power this grid is a 3300Mah Li-Polymer battery.

Apple iPhone 6s/7

Apple has finally stepped into the phablet market with its extraordinary iPhone 6 in 2014. Sales and customer experience have both reached the ceiling, paving way for the next release. In spite of its size, the iPhone 6 could not encompass the size improvement with its software. Most of the apps and built-in software remain scaled destroying the aesthetic experience of the phone. We hope to see some software improvements and bug fixes to enhance the performance in the next generation of smartphones.

Sony Xperia Z4/Z3

Sony has been famous for its display, sound quality, stability in terms of dust and water resistance for over a decade. The Sony Xperia series has never let down Sony as they are loaded with top-notch hardware. Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to have a whopping 5.4 inch, 2560 X 1440 QHD display, powered by a 64 bit Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm.

Stability, Class, Excellent Sound Quality and buttery smooth feel are adjectives that are used to describe the experience of an HTC One M-series Smartphone. The HTC One M9 carries on the full aluminum metal structure from the M8 and front-facing stereo speakers. Out of the box, M9 will support Android 5.0 on a 5.2 inch, 1440X2560 resolutions.

Staging an extraordinary platform for technical dominance and inventions is the year 2015. To introduce and develop new technologies is within the hands of tech giants and start-up entrepreneurs. We do hope to see a revolutionary change in the mobile industry in terms of communications, display and performance on a larger scale.
