Which Motorola Devices Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Android 6.0 Marshmallow will start seeding to the Nexus smartphones from next week. Many customers are eager to know, whether thier devices too get Android 6.0 Marshmallow and when the update will come. Motorola has come out with list smartphones which will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.  When Motorola was with Google, Moto G got the update very fast. Hence, Motorola smartphones are considered to be getting latest updates on timely basis. Unfortunately, Lenovo owned Motorola released list of smartphone which gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow has many disappointment.

As you might have already observed, Moto E both 1st and 2gen are omitted. Also the Moto G as well is not included. Motorola when released Moto E 2nd Gen promised gaurenteed 2 major upgrades. First Gen Moto G and  Moto X can be considered old models. But 2nd Gen Moto E, is a big disappointment. Many people bought Moto E 2nd Gen just because of timely Android update. There are many smartphones with much better specification available for much less price. Motorola broke its promise.

Motorola has not revealed the exact release date for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. But company said will update on timings in the coming weeks. Motorola also discontinueing the apps such as Moto Assist, Motorola Migrate, Google Chrome extension found in Motorola Connect. The functionalities of these apps are either integrated with Android itself or availability of other free third party apps.

In conclusion, it feels like,  Motorola is forgetting the main reason for the sucess of Moto series smartphone.
