  • How to Use Checkbox in Excel Worksheet

    Checkbox in excel is a very handy tool for creating the checklist or simple user forms. There is no need of any Excel VBA knowledge to insert Checkbox into a excel sheet. This is increase the speed at which user enters data as well as it reduces the chances of misspellings which will give trouble in formulas or pivot tables. So lets start learning how to insert Checkbox in Excel.

    Step to Add Check box to Excel Sheet

    1.  To use Checkbox, you need add it to your ribbon, if it is not already available. To Do this, Go to File->Excel Options->Select Show Developer tab in the Ribbon option if you are using excel 2007. If you are using Excel 201o, then go to File->Options->Customize Ribbon. In the list of main tabs select the Developer check box. Choose Ok to close the Options Dialog Box. This works work well for Excel 2o13 on enabling the developer tab in ribbon.

    2.  Once Developer Tab is enabled, go to Developer->Selects Chekbox under form controls.

    3. Now you can place the Check box where ever you want in your excel sheet.

    4.  Once you placed the Check-box, left click on your mouse and choose Format Control option.

    5. Go to Control Tab.  Here you can choose the default value of the check box whether it is Unchecked or Checked or Mixed. If it is checked the output will true and if it is unchecked the output will be False.

    6. The Cell Link refers to the cell on which you want the output to displayed(True or False).

    Micromax Unite 2 sports 4.7 inch screen with 800*400p resolution and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek processor with 1GB RAM. The internal storage of the device is 4GB and supports expandable storage upto 32GB through microSD card. The budget micromax dual sim Android kitkat smartphone  has 5MP main camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera.     Before, starting to use Moto E WiFi hotspot feature, we should have a active data plan. As soon as you enable WiFi hotspot, the WiFi of the device will be turned off. Also, do remember that, WiFi consumes lot of battery. Hence use this wisely to save battery as well as the data usage charges. Lets start with using Moto E as Modem through WiFi hotspot.

    • First enable the data on your device.
    • Go to Settings->Wireless & networks  and tap on to  “More….
    • Tap Tethering & mobile hotspot .
    • Tap the Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot  to turn On.
    • You can customize the Hotspot name and password  by tapping Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot.
    • Enter a hotspot name or SSID which you want.

    • Enter a password or use the default. The password is the key other people need to enter on their device so they can connect and use Moto E as a wireless router.
    • To help make your Wi-Fi hotspot more secure, use the default  security type.

    • Enter a hotspot name or use the default.
    • Enter a password or use the default.

    • Choose settings such as SSID and the security type, and then press .
    • Tap Next and then tap Done.

    Here is the few things you need to keep in mind while you are using HTC One M8 as modem via WiFi Hotspot.

    • Make sure the data connection is turned on.
    • You must have an approved data plan associated with your account from your mobile service provider to use this service. Devices connected to your Wi‍-Fi hotspot use data from your subscribed data plan.
    • Using WiFi hotspot consumes more battery. Hence, when not in use, disable the WiFi Hotspot feature.
