Successor of Samsung Galaxy S2 launched yesterday and it is named as Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300. It runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. S3 is powered by quad core 1.4GHz Cortex A9 processor with Exynos 4212 chipset. It has 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 720*480 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy SIII sports 8MP rear camera with support for 1080p video recording at 30fps and 1.9MP front camera for video calls. It has 1GB RAM and available in 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage variants. Connectivity options available are Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, TV-out, USB-on-the-go and NFC support. This new Samsung Galaxy phone is powered by 2100 mAh battery which promises to provide longer standby time and talk time.
Samsung Galaxy S3 runs on Android 4.0 ICS with Touchwiz 4.0 user interface and support for DivX/Xvid codec. It has Swype text input and improved SNS integration. The Camera has voice activated photo capture and burst shooting mode which takes 3.3 photos per second and suggests the best shot out of the bunch. The camera of the S3 has zero shutter lag and a less than a second shot-to-shot time. This smartphone will also be capable of snapping stills while recording a video.
