    Motorola Moto X sports 4.7 inch AMOLED touch screen with 720p resolution and 312 ppi pixel density. The screen has corning Gorilla glass protection. The internal storage of the device is optional between 16GB or 32GB. Unfortunately,  there is no provision for add microSD card.

    Motorola Moto X PC suite: Downloading the mobile PC suite for Moto X is very easy. It is available in Motorola support page. Installing mobile PC suite is useful for installing drivers and firmware updation of Moto X.

    Motorola Moto X as Modem: Moto X can be used as modem by using the USB tethering and WiFi Hotspot features.

    Nokia X is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor with Adreno 203 GPU and 512MB of RAM. It is a dual sim phone and supports two GSM sims.  The device runs on customised Android OS which names as Nokia X Software Platform v1.

    PC Suite for Nokia X:  As of writing this review, there is no official free download of PC suite for Nokia X is available. Once available, I will share the link.

    Motorola Moto G  is considered to be the best mid range Android smartphone available in the market today. 720p HD display screen, quad core processor and latest Android updates are the key attractions of the Moto G. The Price of Moto G in India starts from RS.12,499 for the 8GB variant and Rs.13,999 for the 16GB variant.

    Motorola Moto G is comes in single sim and dual sim variant. In India, only dual sim variant. There is no difference between these two variants except the additional sim in the dual sim Moto G.  The device sports 4.5 inch LCD capacitive touch screen with 1280×720 pixels and pixel density of 326ppi.  The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection which reduces the impact on the screens.

    Motorola Moto G is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 single core GPU running at 450MHz. The device runs on Android 4.3 Jelly bean out of the box. However, device can be upgrade to the Kitkat.  You can read more on How to update Moto G to Android Kitkat 4.4.2.For internal storage, device comes in two variants. One is 8GB and another one is 16GB. There is no provision for the expandable storage.

    Moto G comes with 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA  front facing camera. The device houses 2070 mAh battery which in normal use lasts for a day. Conenctivity features of the device includes 2G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB. Moto G can be used as modem to connect PC or even you can use it as WiFi hotspot.     For connectivity, Nokia Lumia 525 provides, 2G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GSP and DLNA. The device is powered by 1430mAh battery which is rated to provide upto 16hours of talk time and 336 hours of standby time.  The internal storage of the device is 8GB and supports microSD card upto 64GB.

    How to use Nokia Lumia 525 as modem

    Lumia 525 can be used as WiFi Hotspot using the internet sharing feature. You can access this from the settings->Internet sharing.

  • HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim Review

    HTC Desire 600 is a Dual sim Android smartphone with stylish design and good build quality. In terms of design it resembles HTC One smartphone. The device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean along with HTC ‘s own UI layer HTC Sense 5. The price of HTC Desire 600 in India is Rs.26,299. Does it worth for the money? Let us see the pros, cons and features of the device.

    HTC Desire 600 sports 4.5 inch Super LCD2 qHD panel that has a resolution of 540×960 pixels resulting in a pixel density of 245 ppi.  It is disappointing that HTC did not added at least 720p screen considering its high price.The viewing angles and sun legibility are decent. The text and images looks decent as the screen size is small.

    HTC Desire 600 Review

    The HTC Desire 600 comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash and auto focus.  HTC also included a dedicated image chip for quick processing of images and has smart flash which offers a five level flash that is automatically set based on the distance to the subject. Like other recent Android phones from HTC, this phone too comes with HTC own camera app. This provides option for users to select different scene settings among Normal, Landscape, Portrait, Backlight, Night, Text and Macro for still still images. Users can also switch between HDR, Sweep Panorama and Anti shake modes and choose the slow motion video mode. HTC Desire 600 also offers self timer through which one can put timer ranging from 2 to 10 seconds, select the resolution, video quality, review duration, image adjustments, ISO  and white balance settings.

    HTC Desire 600 Camera performance: The HTC Desire 600 takes good quality images with accurate color reproduction and captures good amount of details in daylight. However, the images taken in the indoors and artificial light looks soft and even grainy to a certain extent.

    HTC Desire 600 is powered by 1.22GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 203  GPU.  The internal storage of the device is 8GB which can be further extended through a microSD card upto 64GB. The phone performance is good enough for web browsing and even games like asphalt 7 we were able to play without much lag. The call quality of Desire 600 is good and captures signal in weal areas too. The HTC Desire 600 houses 1860 mAh battery which lasts almost one full day with ,medium to high usage.

    Disadvantages of HTC Desire 600

    Any review without discussing the negative of the device cannot be completed. So here is the list of demerits of HTC Desire 600.

    • The screen has only qHD resolution. Where as for the same price, there are many 720 p screen devices.
    • The camera performance in indoors and under artificial light are disappointing.
    • No Full HD 1080 p video recording support.
    • relatively slow chipset.
    • The price of the device is high considering the features.
