    It accepts two micro sim cards. You can use nano sim card also by using the adaptor which comes along with this device. It has 2 dedicated sim card slots.

    What is the maximum size of the microSD card capacity it supports? Can I use it to increase internal storage?

    It supports upto 128GB of microSD card. You can use it as internal storage.

    How to use microSD card as internal storage in Moto G4?

    You can use microSD card as internal storage by following the steps given below.

    • Go to Settings->Storage & USB.
    • Tap on to the SD card.
    • Now go to menu(3 dots in top right corner) and then Settings.
    • Select the option “Format as internal”.
    • Now, device will use sd card as internal storage.

    Note: Formatting the microSD card will erase all the data. So backup your data before formatting.

    What are the different variants of Moto G4 Plus available in India?

    The new smartphone will be available in India in two variants based on the internal storage and RAM size. One is 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage and another one is 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage.

    What is the Moto G4 Plus price in India?

    The price of 4th Gen Moto G in India are as follows.

    1. 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage-Rs.13,499
    2. 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage- Rs.14,999.

    No. It just has water repellant nano coating which we have seen in Moto G, Moto G2 etc.

    Yes. Both variants of 4th gen Moto G plus supports upto 128GB of microSD card.

    What is the SoC is used in Moto G4 Plus?

    It is powered by Octa core Snapdragon 617 Soc(8x ARM Cortex A53) with Adreno 405 GPU.

    Does it has LED notification light?

    Yes. It has white LED light. But it glows only when device is connected to charger and it is charging.

    What are the camera features?

    4th Gen Moto G Plus has 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also has laser auto focus and phase detection auto focus(PDAF). There is a 5MP front facing camera with wide angle lens for selfies and video calling.

    Does Moto G Plus 2016 has fast charging option? Is fast charger bundled in the box?

    Yes. It supports fast charging. The bundled charger supports fast charging. Motorola claims, 15 minutes of charging will give around 6 hours of power.

    How to take screenshot on Moto G4 Plus?

    For taking screenshot, follow the steps given below.

    • Go to the screen on which you want to capture screenshot.
    • Press and hold volume down and power button simultaneously.
    • The screenshot will be taken and saved in the Gallery folder. You can access it from “File Manager” or from the “Photos” app from Google which are preinstalled on your Moto G4 Plus.

  • How to Clear Cache Partition On Moto G

    Both first gen Moto G and 2nd Gen Moto G received the  Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update. The new Lollipop update brings in lot of new features such as material design, better battery life and better performance.

    But some Moto G owners post updating to Lollipop, started facing issues. Instead of improving Moto G performance,  it became slow and become less responsive. Even few users also notices, sudden draining of battery. Overall phone started behaving weirdly. What is the problem with Moto G Android Lollipop update?

    Android Lollipop has few issues which google already addressed in their latest update Android 5.1 and some are yet to be addressed.     1. First switch off your Moto G. Ensure your device is fully charged and charger is unplugged.
    2. Press Volume Down key + Power Key for 2-3 seconds and  release.
    3. The phone will show different Boot Options.
    4. From the “Boot Mode Selection Menu” screen, select Recovery. Use Volume Use the Volume Down button to scroll through the menu options and the Volume Up button to select.
    5. You will see a screen on which Android figure lying on his back and “No Command” written on the screen.Moto G Clear Cache Memory
    6. Press and hold the Power button then press and release the Volume Up button to display the menu options.
    7. From the menu, select “wipe cache partition”. Here you need to use Volume buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
    8. “Reboot system now” will be highlighted, press the Power button to select it.
    9. It will take several minutes(Around 5-6 minutes on My 1st Gen Moto G) to complete.

    This is the method, if you are running your moto G with Android Lollipop.

    Does Clearing Cache partition on Moto G deletes my personal files?

    No. It will not delete any of your personal files. This will only  remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem.
